| More than likely you will get a verbal approval before you actually get a written commitment. This is not uncommon but I personally do not believe anything until I see it in writing. The written
commitment should follow in a day or two.
Now that your loan is approved it's just a matter of tying up some loose ends. Most times a commitment will come back with some sort of conditions or " subject to's ". These conditions will usually be minor details that might have been overlooked during the initial processing of the application or some other minor questions the underwriter may have wanted clarification on. At this point most of your worries should be over. Start shopping around for your homeowners insurance and let your attorney know who the actual lender is and who their attorney is so a title report can be forwarded to them. |
